dr Władysław KUBIEŃ

was born in Třinec in 1964. After his graduation at The Polish Secondary School in Český Těšín he became a student of Arts and Polish at the Pedagogical Faculty in Ostrava. In 2001 he obtained Ph.D degree at the Silesian University in Katowice.

At present Mr Kubień works as a teacher at the Polish Secondary School in Český Těšín. He is the founder and the art director of the artistic ensemble Szkapa.
