The Mountainer`s Band ”SÓMSIEK”

was founded in June 1995 as a part - time assembly which accompanied the Polish Mixed Choir ”Collegium Canticorum” in competitive appearances in Llangollen and won 2nd rank in its category. Its members are usually exmusicians of MB Zorómbek.

Since February 1999 became an ensamble of PAS Ars Musica. The founder and director of this band is Leszek Kalina  PhD. The members are mostly the exmusicians of MB Zorómbek. The band has taken part in "The First World Festival of Polish Folk Bands" in Dąbrowa Tarnowska (1997).
